Drag Race stars to headline Walsall Pride cabaret stage

Hosted by the Red Lion’s own, Cleo Andrews, Walsall Pride’s cabaret stage, each year, features a line-up of drag performers and in 2025, not one but two Drag Race UK stars have been announced. Firstly, if you “fancy a slice”, then Worcester-born drag performer, Ginny Lemon, who competed on series two of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK will be gracing Walsall Pride in all their yellow glory. Then, announced second is Drag Race UK series 5 star, Tomara Thomas.
Tomara is known for her high energy, iconic Mrs Doubtfire snatch game, and of course being part of the ‘Angels of the North’ trio alongside series 5 winner, Ginger Johnson, and Michael Marouli who performed at Walsall Pride in 2024.
Ginny Lemon has been a staple of Midlands drag, long before their stint on Drag Race UK. The non-binary performer will bring high-camp chaos, live vocals and comedy to the cabaret tent.
Ginny and Tomara will also be joined by a line-up of drag performers, with several other names already announced including: Topsie Redfern, Heffa Trott, Lady Imelda and Catrin Feelings. More performers are still to be announced.
Meanwhile, on the mainstage, headliners Liberty X will be bring naughties nostalgia to Walsall Pride.
