Wolverhampton Pride, due to take place on Saturday 7th June this year, has announced that award-winning trans and non-binary campaigner and speaker, Jude Guaitamacchi will host this year’s event. Jude Guaitamacchi is also the founder of the Trans Solidarity Alliance with which they made history by chairing the first all-trans panel in UK Parliament, attended by MPs and Lords.

For over 12 years, they have delivered talks and workshops on mental health, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and gender awareness to leading global businesses, brands, schools, and universities, reaching audiences in over 74 countries.
They began their public speaking career with the Amy Winehouse Foundation’s Resilience Programme, sharing their story. In 2023, they were named one of PinkNews’ Top 21 Activists Globally for spearheading ground-breaking initiatives like the viral trans solidarity campaign #TransYouthAreLoved, featuring over 60 celebrities, including Emma Bunton, Elliot Page, and David Tennant. Jude also co-organised the #LwiththeT campaign of lesbians supporting the trans community.
Jude will host the celebrations from the main stage in Wolverhampton’s Market Square with a line-up that includes Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt and Queenz, the dazzling drag extravaganza who performed at Wolverhampton Grand earlier this year. They are joined by the UK’s leading Taylor Swift tribute act Lauren G, the UK’s first trans rapper Nate Ethan, Wolverhampton’s own live-singing drag perfomer, Miss Sundi, alongside fellow drag queen, Gina Tonic, Bilston Operatic Company perform numbers from their upcoming production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Midlands-based singer-songwriter Kyle Finn, closing out the event.
A City of Wolverhampton Council spokesperson said: “We are so excited to finalise the Wolverhampton Pride 2025 line-up by welcoming Jude Guaitamacchi to host the main event in Market Square as well as leading our Pride parade.
“There’s still time to grab your tickets and join us at the main event on Saturday 7 June, we hope to see all of you there joining in the celebrations.”
