Walsall to host Pride Picnic

The Walsall Pride group, who are responsible for putting together Walsall Pride in August, are also hosting a free 'Pride Picnic in the Park' for the second year running. The event will be held in Walsall Arboretum in the area by the bandstand on Sunday 28th July 2024 from 12pm - 5pm.

Pride Picnic in the Park — in partnership with Walsall Council — will feature a community stage with live singers, and guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drink. Limited seating will be available but it is also advisable to bring your own blankets or foldable chairs to ensure you have somewhere to enjoy your picnic. 

Sadly, last year's picnic event was washed out by rain, and a last-minute change of venue was made from the Arboretum to The Lion Bar. However, the community were still able to get together and enjoy some live entertainment. Fingers crossed this year, Walsall is graced by better weather and the event will go ahead at the intended location. 

The main Walsall Pride event will be held on Saturday 24th August, and tickets are available online now!
