Telford Pride returned to the Shropshire town in 2025 after a break of more than a decade. On Saturday 31st May, Telford held its first Pride event in over ten years, celebrating with live music, activities and cabaret at The Three Furnaces bar. The event was hosted by Paul Shuttleworth, and featured Jones in the Fast Lane, Lewis Watson, Miss Fanny Burns, MJM Band and Linda Matthews.

Pride flag held up against the blue sky with small white clouds in it.

The event’s return was planned by Kieron Morgan-Williams who felt as though there was nowhere for the community to gather in the area. He said the festival took a lot of planning but all the stress from the build-up vanished when he saw his community having fun and connecting with the music.

"At points I wanted to throw the towel in but I've had a decent team to be able to pull this off, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be where we are today," he said.

Kieron has big plans for the future of Telford Pride including hopes to move the festival to the town's arena along with holding a parade.

"I want to put Telford on the map." Kieron explained.
