As most of the LGBTQ+ community and allies will already be aware, the EHRC published ‘interim guidance’ as part of their Code of practice for services, public functions and associations following the Supreme Court ruling defining a woman as ‘biological’. The EHRC recently opened their consultation period which allies in particular are encouraged to take part in to support the trans community. The consultation is live until 30th June.

Advice on how to respond to the consultation has been issued by various LGBTQ+ charities and organisations.
