Redditch Pride, a free event which takes place in the town centre, is returning in 2026 on Saturday 6th June. Taking place during Pride Month, the event will open with the Pride parade before offering the community a variety of entertainment, food vendors and other stalls.

A pride parade will start from the band stand at 11.30am, and is open for all to attend, with no need to sign up beforehand. LGBTQ+ people and their allies are welcome to turn up and take part, meeting from 11am at the band stand, before the parade gets underway.

The festival element of Redditch Pride will then begin from noon, on Church Green and is also open to all and free to attend. Entertainment will take place across two stages with acts including Marty (previously known as Miss Marty), a Cher Tribute act, and the headliner, drag performer and star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series one, Sum Ting Wong; herself a local, hailing from Birmingham.

Other entertainment on the day includes live music, a funfair for children, and circus workshops. Visitors will also be able to browse various community stalls, take part in giveaways, and enjoy food from vendors offering diverse cuisines including Greek, vegan menus, and many more.

Redditch Pride director, Jamie Freemantle said: “Bigger Pride events today often feel more like music festivals but Redditch Pride is grassroots, it's about people first. It’s a space for community, visibility, and genuine connection, where everyone is welcome to show up as themselves.”
