Notts Pride, one of the East Midlands' leading LGBTQ+ charities and hosts of the region's largest free Pride event, have called for further sponsors for this year’s Pride which is set to take place on Saturday 25th July. The event’s organisers promise that this year's celebration will be “the biggest, boldest and brightest” Pride in the city yet.

Roughly ten thousand people attended last year's Pride march surpassing the previous year's numbers by approximately 1,000 attendees. 2026, which will once again feature the parade, alongside entertainment and activities for all ages in the city centre is expected to follow in those footsteps, growing even more with the official opening of the ‘Rainbow Quarter’, which has been planned to time alongside Pride.
Leigh Ellis, chair of Nottinghamshire Pride, said: “Notts Pride has always belonged to Nottingham - it's part of this city's history of pride, protest and joy.
“After the incredible response to last year’s event, we're coming back in 2026 bolder and brighter than ever, with even more ways for people to get involved.”
Notts Pride has been a registered charity since 2014, and is run entirely by volunteers, creating a community‑led event by and for the Nottingham community. The charity is funded through donations and sponsorship with all income reinvested directly into delivering the annual Pride celebration and supporting the LGBTQ+ community year-round.
The organisation has already been shown strong support from local businesses getting involved with sponsorship, registering to march in the parade, or even hosting their own events or activities as part of the celebrations. However, organisers are calling on more businesses and community groups across Nottinghamshire to add their support, with sponsorship opportunities still open for the upcoming event.
Craig Martin, Vice Chair of Nottinghamshire Pride, explained: “Pride might only take over the city for one day, but we believe Pride is so much more than just one day of celebration, and the work of Notts Pride as a charity lasts all year round. From campaigning and community support to creating safer spaces, everything we do is made possible by our supporters.”
