A Press release from Queer Voices said: "[We] has grown a lot over the last 9 months and supporting a local independent business is something that we are proud to do.

"Queer Voices would like to thank Jessie of Boston Tea Party and all the staff for everything that they have done for Queer Voices. They have been very supportive and we are sure that they will continuously be supporting the LGBTQ+ community in Worcester going forward."

Events begin at 7.00pm monthly, and are open to the public. Those interested in performing are encouraged to email info@queervoices.co.uk to request a slot on the open mic. The next online event is on Tuesday 14th March at 7pm on Zoom. If you require access, please email the above address. Queer Voices will be joined by former Worcestershire Poet Laureate Ade Couper as the headliner for the evening.

Additionally, Queer Voices have an open call for poems on the theme of 'PRIDE' for their first poetry anthology. The deadline is 30th April 2026 at 11:59pm with the book launch in June 2026. All entries need to be emailed to info@queervoices.co.uk

Founder and host of Queer Voices Melissa Poulton adds, “I am really looking forward to seeing what the next six months brings to Queer Voices. Especially as we continue to support local businesses like Gaumont Coffee.”
