MOBILISE, Birmingham's accessible sober dance party – a “collective resistance, mobilising our bodies into a force for joy and transforming the city into runways and discos, in a riotous act of celebration” – run by Fatt Projects will end on a high with two final events.

The first event, ‘What We Found on the Dancefloor’ is aimed at nightlife producers and promoters. The event will be held at B:Music’s Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space, 8 Centenary Square, Birmingham on Wednesday 12th June from 11am-5pm.
Described as “an independent nightlife summit for party, events, and nightlife organisers… WHAT WE FOUND ON THE DANCEFLOOR is a day for producers, promoters, and people who make nightlife events and parties happen to come together and talk about accessibility, fundraising, audiences, and share our experiences of making nightlife events happen.”
The event is pay-what-you-can, however, Fatt Projects are pleased to offer a limited number of bursaries for those who otherwise would not be able to participate. Find out more and book your place.
Taking place on the same day, from 7.30pm, the second event ‘All the Lovers: A night of live queer music & dancing’ is “a big Brummy night of live music and dancing celebrating some of our favourite independent queer music artists from across the UK including Pink Suits, Mickey Callisto, Spit XL, & more.
“Hosted by the powerhouse cabaret iconoclast Midgitte Bardot, expect a joyous, silly, sexy, line-up of live vocals and music across a range of genres to get your heart beating and your bodies dancing. The night will finish with a set from Fatt Project’s own Big Fatt Dance Party with live vocals and interactive dance routines to get us dancing together.”
The line-up also includes: Eddy Luna, and the Big Fatt Dance Party with Alanna Boden, Fatt Butcher, Blü Romantic and Just Soriah.
Tickets for All the Lovers are on sale for £5, and free tickets are available for anyone on a low income. Find out more.
