Drag star, La Voix, has been announced in exciting new casting for the UK tour of the hit musical, Annie. La Voix (the drag persona of Christopher Dennis) will play Miss Hannigan across several venues including The Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, which plays in June 2026.

La Voix, who has competed in both RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and more recently Strictly Come Dancing (the latter of which she sadly had to withdraw from due to an injury) is well-known as live-singing drag performer, and she will bring her vocals to songs including the iconic ‘Little Girls’.

As well as TV appearances that include ITV's Queens for the Night and World of Wonder’s Queen of the Universe, La Voix is no stranger to the stage. She has toured around the country for the last ten years with a live band, performing a comedy and music show, and most recently delivered the hugely successful sold-out tout 'The Show isn't Over'. Due to popular demand, she has also returned to the Wycombe Swan’s annual pantomime this year.

La Voix will follow in the footsteps of Craig Revel Horwood, Jodie Prenger, and Paul O'Grady to take on the role of Annie’s main antagonist, Miss Hannigan. La Voix will stars on the UK tour from 23rd May (Wimbledon) to 30th June (Caterbury). Casting is yet to be announced for further venues which include: Nottingham's Concert Hall (1st-6th September 2026), Stoke-on-Trent's Regent Theatre (13th-18th October), Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre (16th-21st February 2027), and Leicester's Curve Theatre (9th-14th March 2027).
