Birmingham’s own Joe Lycett is set to return to stages with his first comedy tour in five years. The tour will play at two different Birmingham venues as well as dates across the Midlands including: Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Buxton, and Wolverhampton, as well at other venues across nationwide.

The brilliantly titled 'Do you really Lycett? It is, is it wicked? We're lovin' it, lovin' it, lovin' it! We're lovin' it Lycett!' is a brand-new stand-up tour that hits the road from 2027, running into 2028. The tour promises to features jokes, “a sprinkling of social justice, some material about being a father and a little bit about being on the Celebrity Traitors.”

Lycett is well known for taking on social justice battles including hosting Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back for Channel 4, and challenging water companies in Joe Lycett vs Sewage. He temporarily changed his name to Hugo Boss in protest of the brand with the same name attempting to sue an independent company, and he staged a stunt protesting footballer David Beckham's ambassador role at the Qatar World Cup in 2022.

Joe Lycett recently became a father, and despite people suspecting the news to be one of his many elaborate jokes, Lycett has since spoken openly about his parenting journey.

Lycett’s last stand-up tour, 'More, more, more. How do you Lycett? How do you Lycett?', which took place five years ago included perhaps one of his best stunts to date which led to the creation of Queen’s Heath Pride. The special is now available to stream on the comedian’s website for anyone who does not yet know the story…

Lycett’s latest TV appearance will be Celebrity Traitors series two, which is set to air on the BBC in January 2027, and should therefore conclude before the tour is underway, allowing the comedian to speak about his experience on one of the most talked about programmes.

'Do you really Lycett? It is, is it wicked? We're lovin' it, lovin' it, lovin' it! We're lovin' it Lycett!' visits Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent 15th April 2027, Vaillant Live Derby 13th-1th May, Royal Concert Hall Nottingham 26th-27th May, Birmingham Hippodrome 9th-12th June (BSL Interpreted show 10th June), De Montfort Hall Leicester 17th-18th June, Opera House Buxton 24th-25th June, The Alexandra Birmingham 23rd-26th November, and The Civic Hall Wolverhampton 2nd-3rd December.
