Nottinghamshire cricket teams, Notts Outlaws and The Blaze, are taking part in 2025’s Pride fixtures at Trent Bridge cricket ground in the ‘T20 Double-Header’ fixtures. This year will mark the first time The Blaze, a women’s cricket team for Nottinghamshire, have taken part in a Pride fixture at Trent Bridge.

The Blaze will go up against Durham in the Vitality Blast Women's Competition before Notts Outlaws take on Leicestershire Foxes in the Vitality Blast Men's Competition.
In a press release, a spokesperson for Trent Bridge, which is the Third oldest Test venue in the world and home to Nottinghamshire CCC, Notts Outlaws, Trent Rockets and The Blaze, explained: “The day will celebrate Pride to deliver the powerful message that those in the LGBTQ+ community can be their true selves whilst attending or participating in sporting events.”
Mandy Wright, Head of Trent Bridge Community Trust adds: “Nottinghamshire, The Blaze, and Trent Bridge will always fully and unwaveringly support the LGBTQ+ community.
“We are delighted to be once again hosting a Pride fixture, where a variety of different touches to the ground and the action on the field will remind LGBTQ+ cricket supporters that they will always be welcome at our venue.
“We’re all looking forward to seeing Trent Bridge decorated for the occasion, and we will continue to work to drive positive change for LGBTQ+ fans and use the power of sport to bring people together.”
The Pride fixtures event at Trent Bridge takes place on Sunday 6th July from 11am.
