Birmingham LGBT Centre receives £9K donation

Ahead of its move to its new centre home in September, Birmingham LGBT have received a donation of £9,609 from the Morrisons Foundation. The cash boost from the supermarket’s charity foundation has covered the costs of creating and furnishing a training room at Birmingham LGBT’s new facility.

Steph Keeble, Director of Birmingham LGBT charity said: "Birmingham LGBT are moving to a purpose-built new LGBT centre in the heart of the gay village in September.
“This is a really exciting time for the charity and we are really grateful to the Morrisons Foundation for supporting us with a capital grant to furnish our new training room.”
Birmingham LGBT is an award-winning charity delivering services including support groups, sexual health, substance support, and counselling to the LGBTQIA+ community in Birmingham. More information about the charity’s work and services can be found on their website: https://blgbt.org/
